Second Year Progress Report submitted to Project Funders

The Scottish Genomes Partnership has submitted a progress report to its funders which summarises evidence for continuing excellent progress made in its second full year of operations.

The report was received very positively by the UK Medical Research Council and Scottish Government's Chief Scientist Office. In replying, to the SGP team, they said:

“Overall your report shows clearly that this continues to be a carefully and well-managed programme with challenges identified quickly and resolved despite the complexities. This view is evidenced in particular by the collaboration with Genomics England, as well as the statements from the Scientific Advisory Board and the quality assurance accreditation bodies.  We agree the programme has moved successfully from the establishment to delivery phase with projects starting to produce results.”

An executive summary of the report is available to download here.
